Want to start your day off right? Do this gentle 20 minute Morning Yoga Flow class video!

I’ve had a lot more time at home this year (like most of us), so I committed to starting my own short morning yoga practice every day to help keep me on track, emotionally/mentally/and physically. The little steps we take for self-care make a huge difference.

Doing this morning yoga practice has improved how I feel so much that I had to share it with you!

I haven’t been able to do as much with my arms since my chest surgery earlier this year, so this is my first yoga video back. And let me tell ya—it feels great to be teaching again.

This class will loosen up your body and help you get in the right headspace before you tackle your day. The practice is accessible for All Levels, and focuses on gentle mobility and flexibility poses to work through any morning creakiness you may feel. It’s a Hatha style yoga class that covers all your joints, from hips to shoulders. You’ll end feeling taller, looser, and stronger!

Plus, it’s short enough that you won’t feel overwhelmed by adding it to your schedule, or slowed down as you begin your day. I knew that I wouldn’t be able to get myself to actually commit to anything longer, and a 20 minute practice is just right to get the full effects.

If you tend to wake up feeling stiff, this Morning Yoga video is a must!

All you need is yourself, a mat, and maybe some blocks (I always highly recommend!). And perhaps a nice mug of warm lemon water or tea. Do this practice as part of your morning routine, as often as you can. It’s great either before or after a workout, too.

Remember that building a habit takes time and consistency, but doing yoga every day is definitely worth the commitment. You’ll feel more mentally clear and younger in your body!
